The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, together with the Government of Australia and Indonesia, will host the 10^th Bali Process Ad Hoc Group Senior Officials Meeting (AHG SOM) on 2 February 2016 at the Anantara Siam Hotel, Bangkok.

         Senior Officials from 16 countries, including Australia, Indonesia, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, and the United States, and 3 international organizations (IOM, UNHCR and UNODC) will attend the Meeting. The 10^th Bali Process AHG SOM will focus on the challenges posed by irregular migration, both globally and in the Asia-Pacific region. The meeting will contribute to preparations for the 6^th Bali Process Ministerial Conference, which will be held on 23 March 2016 in Bali, Indonesia.

         Thailand has consistently committed to addressing the issue of irregular migration in the Indian Ocean and advocates solution through regional cooperation from all parties, be they affected countries, donors and relevant organisations, based on the principle of burden sharing.
