            On 1- 2 November 2015, Mr. Apichart Chinwanno, Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs presided over the Offering Ceremony of the Royal Kathin Robe, graciously bestowed by His Majesty the King through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to the congregation of monks at Wat Ounalom, Phnom Penh, the Kingdom of Cambodia.
           
            Also present at the ceremony were H.E. Mr. Nuttavudh  Photisaro, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Kingdom of Cambodia, Gen. Vichit Yathip, President of Thailand - Cambodia Friendship Association, H.R.H. Samdech Norodom Sirivudh, Member of the Privy Council Royal Cabinet of H.M. the King, H.E. Mr. Min Khin, Minister of Cult and Religion Affairs, H.E Mr. Pich Chamnan, Secretary of State, Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, Lok Chumteav Neth Phumary, Undersecretary of State, Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts, H.E. Mr. Prasith Sayasith, Ambassador of the Lao People's Democratic Republic to the Kingdom of Cambodia, Most Ven. Thich Thien Tam, Abbot of Pho Minh Temple in Ho Chi Minh City, as well as over 1,000 monks and Buddhists. 
 
            On this special occasion, H.H. Samdech Preah Agga Maha Sangharajadhipati Tep Vong, Great Supreme Patriarch of the Kingdom of Cambodia, chaired the ceremony.
 
            The Royal Kathin Robe Offering Ceremony at Wat Ounalom served the aim of promoting constructive people-to-people interactions between Thais and Cambodians through Buddhism. The donation from His Majesty the King and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as well as Thai and Cambodian Buddhists amounted to approximately 1,000,000 Baht.
