On 8 October 2015, Mr. Salaev B.K., Rector of Kalmyk State University (Kalm SU), together with Vice – Rector,  Mr. Imeev V.O) paid a courtesy call upon Chargé d'affaires  ad interim, Mr. Boonyarit Vichienpuntu for a discussion on cooperation in the field of education between Kalm SU and universities in Thailand. During the meeting Mr. Salaev expressed his interest towards possibility to exchange personals, conduct joint scientific-academic researches and organize Thai language course with Thai universities. 

 

            Kalmyk State University was found in 1970 in the Buddhist Republic of Kalmykia, in Southern part of Russia next to Kazakhstan. Currently the university is comprised of 10 faculties and it homes 187 foreign students from 24 countries.
