In September 2015, H.E. Dr. Itti Ditbanjopng, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Russian Federation, together with diplomats from the Thai embassy actively supported Thai tourism industry in Russia under the project September 2015: Spotlight on Thailand in Moscow, held the Team Thailand in Moscow. The various events, promoting Thai tourism, organized by Moscow Office of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, were presided by Mrs, Kobkarn Suriyasat Wattanavrangkul, Minister of Tourism and Sport, and her delegation. The events included  “OTDYKH Leisure 2015” participated by over 40 Thai companies, Thailand Fan Club and “Thai fight”  Muay Thai in Moscow, supporting Thai Tourism and Muay Thai in Russia, at  Ray Just Arena on 17 September and  the Networking Lunch with the Russian leading businessmen from tourism field and a representative of the Russian Federal Agency of Tourism on 18 September at Kempinsky Balshuk hotel, Moscow. 

 

            The aforementioned events met a great success in promoting Thai Tourism in Russia and emphasizing Thailand as a popular travel destination of the Russian tourists. H.E. Dr. Itti Ditbanjopng also took this opportunity to reaffirm policy of the Thai government in promoting cooperation between Thailand and Russia in the field of tourism, and guaranteeing safety and security of foreign tourists in Thailand.
