1. Royal Thai Consulate-General, Kota Bharu organized “Kelantan-Waeng Relationship Project”
On 16-17 September 2015, The Royal Thai Consulate-General organized “The Kelantan – Waeng District Relationship Project” at Hala-Bala Wildlife Sanctuary, Waeng District, Narathiwat. The objective of this project was for promoting the closer cooperation between Thai and Malay peoples and to promote the eco-tourism. Members joined this project were Malays from Kota Bharu and Tanah Merah District of Kelantan, the Thai District Officer of Waeng and Sukhirin Offices and Hala Bala Peat Swamp and Rain Forest Research Station.
2. Consulate-General, Kota Bharu attended the 103 Anniversary Celebration of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Kelantan
On 18 September 2015, Consul-General Jackrid Kanjanasoon attended the 103 Anniversary Celebration of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Kelantan, at the Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Kota Bharu. The event was presided over by Mr. Lee Seng Long, President of Kelantan Chinese Chamber of Commerce and was attended by many key persons including YB Dato’Hj Anuar Tan B Abdullah (Entrepreneurial Development, Trade and Community Development Committee Chairman), Datuk Ter Leong Yap (President of the Associated Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia) and guests from the private sectors of Kelantan and Terengganu. Mr. Saran Wangsattabongkot, President of Narathiwat’s Chamber of Commerce, together with committee members of Narathiwat’s Chamber of Commerce also participated at the event to congratulate and to promote closer engagement with the Chinese Chamber of Commerce.
3. Consulate-General, Kota Bharu welcomed His Excellency Admiral Chumpol Pachusanon (Privy Councillor/Royal Representative)
On 20 September 2015, Consul-General Jackrid Kanjanasoon welcomed His Excellency Admiral Chumpol Pachusanon (Privy Councillor/Royal Representative), in Closing Ceremony of Traditional Boats Competition with Royal Trophy 2015 at the Royal Pavilion's Celebrations of 50 Years of Narathiwat Province. The event was co-organized by Narathiwat Province and private sectors of Narathiwat province to show their loyalty to his majesty the King, the Queen and the members of royal family on the occasion of annually performing royal duties in Narathiwat as well as to promote tourism in Narathiwat.
