On Tuesday 8 September 2015, the Thailand Trade and Economic Office, in collaboration with the Department of Cultural Affairs (Taipei City Government), the Thailand Foundation, and the Tourism Authority of Thailand (Taipei Office), organized the Thai boxing performance “MUAY THAI: The Legend” at the Family Theater, Taipei City Hall, to showcase the arts of traditional Thai boxing, the first of its kind in Taiwan.

 

            The Muay Thai teachers and world-renowned boxers from the Thai Fight Team, and the champion Muay Thai Performance Team of the IZUZU Contest, travelled to Taiwan particularly for the show. At the end of the performance, the stage was opened for a “Muay Thai Clinic” inviting the audience to participate in the exercise using Muay Thai boxing techniques, which attracted many participants. 

 

            "MUAY THAI: The Legend" is a huge success and has received positive feedbacks from over 500 Taiwanese and member of diplomatic corps who attended the event.
