On 26 August 2015, H.E. Mr. Panyarak Poolthup, Ambassador of Thailand to Vietnam presents Thailand’s perspectives on the ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community – ASCC and “ASEAN Identity” –  An objective and driving force for the sustainable development of the ASCC in the International Seminar on Building the ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community Toward a Shared Identity – Learning from EU’s Experience  at Pullman Hotel, Hanoi.

 

            The Ambassador highlights the policy of the Thai Government in realizing the ASEAN Community especially the ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community at the end of 2015. The Ambassador reiterates the importance of education, raising the ASEAN awareness and identity as well as the roles of Thailand as the country coordinator for the ASEAN-EU relations.
