On 31 July – 2 August 2015, the Royal Thai Embassy conducted several activities to promote Thai cuisine under the theme “Thai food for health,” with Thai cooking and fruit carving exhibits performed by experts from Bangkok. These activities include:

            (1)cooking workshop for the media at a Warsaw cooking school

            (2)Garden dinner party hosted by the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand for representatives of the diplomatic corp, the Polish-Thai Parliamentarian Friendship Group represented by the Honourable Senator Robert Dowhan, as well as the Polish businessmen, media, sports and entertainment circles.

            (3)Thai corner at a popular Polish Warsaw market fair

            (4)Cooking show on a popular commercial TV’s programme televised live throughout Poland with a famous Polish former World champion in kickboxing

 

            The experts from Bangkok comprised members of the Faculty of Home Economics, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon. Such activities not only helped to promote Thai cuisine and tourism, but also underscored the close ties of friendship and cooperation between Thailand and Poland.
