On 21 July 2015, the Royal Thai Embassy in Copenhagen organized“Flavours of Thailand @ Vilnius” in Vilnius, Lithuania in cooperation with the Lithuanian Hotels and Restaurants Association and CiopCiopCulinary Studio, to demonstrate the cooking of Thai foodusing locally available ingredients for three simple Thai dishes, namely, Kanom Pang Na Moo (Fried Minced Pork Canape), Chu Chee Salmon (Salmon in Red Curry Sauce) and GaengKiaw Wan Gai (Chicken in Green Curry).
Participants also had the opportunity to taste the respective dishes presented at this demonstration. Theycomprised of Ambassadors and other members of the Diplomatic Corps in Lithuania, professional chefs from leading hotels and restaurants in Lithuaniaas well as other friends of Thailand from the public and private sector in Lithuania.
The Royal Thai Embassy took the opportunity to inform the participants on various interesting facts about Thai food and food products and is looking forward to organizing more similar events in Lithuania.
