On 11 July 2015,Royal Thai Embassy in Singapore participated inTeck Ghee International Cultural Day 2015, organised by Teck Ghee Community Club.Mr. ChairatSirivat, the Minister and Deputy Chief of Mission, attended the event as a guest of honor and led officials and staff of the embassy to attend this spectacular event. The event was held with the purpose to educate the visitors about different cultures, through cultural performances and national artistic items. For Thailand, Benjarong Porcelain, Kratong (floating lanterns), PlaTapein handicrafts, Chiang Mai umbrella and Thai national costumesweredisplayed amongst different items. The event was a successful. The Royal Thai Embassy received positive feedbacks as visitors from the area expressed their interests and fascinations on Thailand. Many have been to Thailand before and shared their fondmemories to the officials. While many showed their interest to go to Thailand in the future.
