On 25 June 2015 – H.E. Mr. BansarnBunnag, Ambassador of Thailand to Singapore, presided over the Thai Chef Certificate Graduation Ceremony co-organised by the Department of Skill Development, Ministry of Labour of Thailand, and the Office of Labour Affairs, Singapore. The certificates were given to Thai chefs who graduated from the Skill Development Course for Thai Chefs (Level 1 and 2) which was organised on 22-25 June 2015. 

 

            The Skill Development Course was organised as part of the Thai Chef Support and Labour Market ExpansionProject in Singapore, with the objectives of promoting excellence in standards of Thai chef, as well as to promote Thai cultures and identity through Thai food. The Course consists of a series of training, as well as theoretical and practical tests, with 85 Thai chefs graduating from the Course.
