On 19 May 2015, H.E. Mr. Peerasak Chantavarin, Ambassador of Thailand to Egypt, presided over the “ 4th  Thai Cooking Class in Egypt” for 18 hobby chefs at Ruen Thai restaurant, Dusit Thani, Cairo, organized by the Royal Thai Embassy in cooperation with the Egyptian Chefs Association.

 

            Chef Panya and his Thai team from Ruen Thai restaurant demonstrated and taught the participants to cook 6 recipes of Thai food and dessert namely; spring roll, spicy prawn soup with chili paste, chicken with red curry, stir fried beef in oyster sauce, fried rice with shrimp, and rice dumpling in coconut milk. The participants enjoyed their learning with high appreciation of the cooking class. 

 

            The Embassy will further organize the cooking class series to the other target groups in different cities in Egypt in the months to come.
