On 12 May 2015, H.E. Mr. Peerasak Chantavarin, Ambassador of Thailand to Egypt, presided over the “ 2nd Thai Cooking Class in Egypt” for 20 young chefs at Bua Khao Thai restaurant in Maadi, Cairo, organized by the Royal Thai Embassy in cooperation with the Egyptian Chefs Association.

 

             Chef Yuphadee and Chef Noppawan who are the owners of Bua Khao Thai restaurant demonstrated and taught the participants to cook 7 recipes of Thai food and dessert namely; tuna meat ball, fish cake, spicy prawn soup with chili paste, grilled beef salad, penang curry with pineapple and prawn, stir fried chicken with ginger, and banana in coconut milk. The participants enjoyed their learning with high appreciation of  the cooking class. 

The Embassy will further organize the cooking class series to the other target groups in different cities in Egypt in the months to come.
