On 7 April 2015, Consul-General Jackrid Kanjanasoon attended the opening ceremony of Su-ngai Kolok Food Fair 2015 in Su-ngai Kolok district of Narathiwat. In the pictures, Governor Nattapong Sirichana presided over the opening ceremony joined by chief officers from Thailand and Malaysia, such as YB Hjh Mumtaz Md Nawi, Chairperson of Women, Family Development and Welfare, State of Kelantan and Yb Dato’Haji  Abdullah Bin Yakob, the Speaker of Kelantan.

 

            This year marks the sixth year for the annual Su-ngai Kolok Food Fair which has been initiated by Su-ngai Kolok Municipality to promote tourism and stimulate the economy of the border areas as well as promote Thai food that are not only tasty, but also clean and hygienic. Concert bands will be provided every night for entertaining Thai and Malay fans, such as “Mr.Ott Kiriboon” performed his concert on 7 April where on stage Mr.Ott told his fans by a glittering sentence “Su-ngi Kolok is one of the Amazing Thailand town, bad luck for you if you missed a chance to visit Su-ngi Kolok”.
