During 20-21 March 2015, the Royal Thai Embassy, Mexico City, together with the Muay Thai Mexico Tailandia (MTMT) association, organized Muay Thai promotional events. A seminar for judges and referees was held at Galerias Plaza de lasEstrellas with participation of approximately 100 people from the Muay Thai circles of Mexico. AMuay Thai Tournament was held at Centro Deportivo Chapultepec with 8 matches (7 male and 1 female), with participation of athletes both from Mexico and the United States. Over 500 audiences came to see the tournament.

 

            Following the activities in Mexico City, H.E. SurasakChuasukonthip, Ambassador of Thailand to Mexico, led a delegation to Campeche to hold a Muay Thai workshop on 24 March 2015. Over 60 people participated, both Muay Thai instructors and students, from all age groups ranging from under 10 years old to over 50 years old.
