            On 24 March 2015, H.E. Mr. Tomwit Jarnson, Ambassador of Thailand to Pakistan, attended the   Asian – Pacific Postal Union Executive Council (APPU-EC) Meeting at Serena hotel in Islamabad, Pakistan. The APPU-EC Meeting was organized by the Ministry of Communications, Pakistan Post, and the Economic Cooperation Organization Postal Staff College from 24-28 March 2015 and is organized every year in which the member countries take turns hosting the Meeting. In 2014, it was held in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The objective of the APPU-EC Meeting was to enhance relationship and encourage collaboration in the field of postal services among the member countries. There were representatives from 17 member countries, such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Australia, Republic of Korea, China, and Thailand attending the Meeting. For Thailand, 9 delegates led by the Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Information, Communications, and Technology and other officers from Thailand Post Company Limited participated in the event.
