Ambassador to Canberra and families made merit and offered meal to monks at Dhammadharo Temple

            On 15 February 2015, H.E. Mr. Maris Sangiampongsa, Ambassador of Thailand and spouse, Royal Thai Embassy officials, Heads of Team Thailand in Canberra and families, made merit and offered meal to monks at Dhammadharo Temple, Canberra, on the occasion of the completion of the Ambassador’s tour of duty in Australia. H.E. Mr. Maris Sagiampongsa will take up a new position as Ambassador of Thailand to New Zealand. Phra Rajsilaporn, Abbot of Dhammadharo Temple, Canberra, also gave a blessing to the Ambassador. The Ambassador expressed his appreciation to Phra Rajsilaporn and monks at Dhammadharo Temple, Canberra, and all Buddhists for the support given to him during his three years in Australia. More than 50 Buddhists joined the ceremony. The Ambassador and Heads of Team Thailand in Canberra later attended a meeting chaired by Phra Rajsilaporn on the construction of Phutthawat area of Dhammadharo Temple.
