On 4 February 2015, H.E. Mr. Maris Sangiampongsa, Ambassador of Thailand, welcomed and hosted a dinner for Dr Somkiat Tangkitvanich, President of Thailand Development Research Institute (TDRI), at the residence on the occasion of his visit to Australia (Canberra, Melbourne and Sydney) between 1 and 7 February 2015 on the invitation of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Australia (DFAT). The main purpose of his visit is to study the Parliamentary auditing system of the Australian government expenditure, trading system and agricultural innovation.
