In response to news reports on the killing of Mr. Kenji Goto, the Japanese national who was recently taken hostage, the Thai Government today (1 February 2015), issued condolence messages to the Japanese Government, from the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Prime Minister of Japan, and from the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan, to convey words of encouragement to the Japanese Government and her people, and especially to the family of the deceased.
