On 27 January 2015, H.E. Mr. Maris Sangiampongsa, Ambassador of Thailand, Mr. Vasin Ruangprateepsaeng, Minister, Mr. Krit Tankanarat, Minister Counsellor, Mrs. Kamonwan Sattayayut, Educational Affairs Attaché, and Mr. Vathayudh Vichankaiyakij, Counsellor, welcomed and hosted luncheon for the executive committee of Buddharangsee Thai Community Language (BTCL) School, Sydney, and a group of volunteer teachers from Thailand led by Dr. Songsri Foran, Director, BTCL School, and Assistant Professor Ponglada Thampitakkul, Director, Teaching Thai Language and Culture organization, Faculty of Education, Chulalongkorn University. A group of volunteer teachers from Thailand came to Australia to teach Thai language and culture during summer holiday for students in BTCL School in Sydney every year during the past 23 years.
