On 4 January 2015, H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, attended the reception in celebration of the 67th Independence Day of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, and, on behalf of H.E. General Prayut Chan-o-cha, Prime Minister, presented flowers  to H.E. Mr. Win Maung, Ambassador of Myanmar to Thailand, on this important occasion.

Thailand has established her diplomatic relations with Myanmar since 24 August 1948. Hence, this year also marks the 67th Anniversary of Thailand – Myanmar Diplomatic Relations. This clearly reflects the close ties of friendship and long-standing cooperation between the two countries, which will continue to be further promoted for many years to come.
