On 3 December 2014, Ministry of Foreign Affairs together with the Secretariat of the House of the Senate and the Secretariat of the House of Representatives will organise  a Seminar entitled “On the Path to Reform” with an objective to learn from experiences and lessons on reform process of various countries. The seminar will be attended by participants from National Legislative Assembly, National Reform Council, Government agencies, academic institutions, and members of Diplomatic Corps as well as relevant international organisations.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affair, President of the  National Legislative Assembly and  Mr. Martin Chungong, Secretary General of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) will make their remarks during the opening ceremony. The participnats will listen to views and experiences from experts from friendly countries namely Portugal, Switzerland, Germany, Japan, Republic of Korea, Australia, and the United States as well as the Center for Humanitarian Dialogue (HDC) on the key areas of reform namely political reform, public administration, and local governance.  

This seminar is a part of many other activities the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as well as other agencies will continue to organize in support of the on-going reform process in Thailand.
