            On 18 November 2014, Mrs. Nittaya Jessadachatr, Minister of the Royal Thai Embassy, was a representative from the Embassy to  present the books about the roles and activities of  His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej to the Russian State Library. These books are “A Memoir of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand”, “A compilation the Royal Addresses and Speeches in different occasion in B.E. 2554 (2011)”, “Royal Addresses of Welcome and Reply Speeches at the State Banquets in Honour of the Heads of States on their State Visits to Thailand as Guests of Their Majesties the King and Queen from B.E. 2497 (1954) to B.E. 2531 (1988), “Royal Addresses of Welcome and Reply Speeches at the State Banquets in Honour of the Heads of States on their State Visits to Thailand as Guests of Their Majesties the King and Queen from B.E. 2533 (1990) to B.E. 2552 (2009), “A compilation of Their Majesties’ activities from January to December B.E. 2553 (2010)”, as well as books about Thai society, arts and traditions and cook books.  The books were delivered  from the Office of His Majesty’s Principal Private Secretary. In this regard, Mrs. Marina Vladimirovna Milanyina, Director of the Centre of Oriental Literature, and Mr. Sergey Alexeevich Kudryavzev, Director of the Department for International Cooperation of the Russian State Library, were the Library’s representatives to receive all of the books. Both of them expressed their wishes to cooperate more closely with Thailand in promoting knowledge about Thailand through different activities ie: organizing exhibitions and exchanging of books and experts.
