On 11 November 2014, Consul-General Jackrid Kanjanasoon and Secretary-General of SBPAC Mr. Panu Uthairat organized the press conference for Thai Festival 2015 at Hansa JB Hotel, Hatyai, Songkhla. The event was attended by provincial governors and government heads from 5 southern border provinces including private sectors, mass media and OTOP entrepreneurs for more than 300 persons. Thai Festival 2015 will be held in Kota Bharu, Kelantan during 29 January – 4 February 2014 and will be held in Kuala Terengganu, Terengganu during 16-21 February 2014. The festival was aimed at seeking trading market for the southern provinces entrepreneurs who were affected from the unrest situation to have better leaving in this difficult time. This event was also supported by Thailand Post Co., Ltd. from 15 post offices who will publicize halal products from 7 southern provinces as well as to sell the products.
