On 26 Octoberber 2014 at 09.00 a.m., H.E. Mr. Maris Sangiampongsa, Ambassador, attended the annual Offering the Kathina Ceremony at Wat Thai Bhuddharam, Brisbane. Ms. Pornthip Sangasri hosted the ceremony. Anthony Shorten, Member of Parliament for Algester, Ms. Freya Ostapovitch, Member for Stretton, Luke Smith, Member for Logan City Council, foreigner guests and Thai people attended the ceremony. Ambassador, together with Mr. Shorten and Mr. Smith, also jointly presided at the Offering ceremony of the Loy Kratong Festival at the temple in the afternoon.
