On 3 October 2014, Ms. Wanthanee Viputwongsakul, Minister, together with the Royal Thai Embassy officials, Hanoi, paid a visit to Thua Thien–Hue Province to present to Huyen Khong Monastery religious supplies for meditation including umbrellas with mosquito nettings, seats, mats and pillows. The objectives of the presentation are to enhance Buddhism cooperation and strengthen the relations between the peoples of Thailand and Vietnam. The items will be used to support the Monastery’s Buddhist monk and novice ordination programmes in which the participants will have an opportunity to practice the Buddihist meditation.
