On 27 September 2014, H.E. Mr. Peerasak Chantavarin, Ambassador of Thailand to Egypt, presided over an extracurricular activity on the demonstration of Muslim custom of bathing a deceased’s body at the Thai school of Non-Formal and Informal Education in Cairo. The event was attended by over 50 Thai students, mostly are students currently study at Al Azhar University.

On this occasion, the Ambassador encouraged their studies and improvement of skills and knowledge as well as exchanged view with Thai students on ways and means to support them in fields of education and their living. The Ambassador also expressed the Embassy's readiness to support the activities of Thai students in Egypt.
