On 26 September 2014, Mr. Manasvi Srisodapol, Deputy Permanent Secretary Acting Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, hosted a farewell lunch in honour of H.E. Mr. James Wise, Ambassador of Australia to Thailand upon the completion of his tour of duty.  They were joined by H.E. Mrs. Chua Siew San, Ambassador of the Republic of Singapore to Thailand, Mr. Leigh Scott-Kemmis, President of Australian-Thai Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Luc Stevens, United Nations Resident Coordinator,  Mr. Tak Sriratanobhas, Director of the Committee of America and South Pacific, the Board of Trade of Thailand and Prof. Vitit Muntabhorn, Professor of Law, Chulalongkorn University together with high-level officials of the Ministry.  On this occasion, Mr. Srisodapol has expressed appreciation for H.E. Mr. Wise’s great work and contribution to successfully promote Thailand-Australia relations and further enhance cooperation between the two countries.
