Ambassador of Thailand to Australia ttended the meeting to promote Thai language program in Year 11/12 in Tasmania

          On the 6  August 2014, H.E. Mr. Maris Sangiampongsa, Ambassador of Thailand, Mr. Abhirat Achalabun, Honorary Consul-general for Thailand in Tasmania, Ms. Venus Asawapoom, Second Secretary, and Dr. Sopha Cole, Principal of the Thai Language School of Melbourne Inc., attended the meeting to promote Thai language program in Year 11/12 in Tasmania at Guilford Young College, Hobart. Mrs. Bobby Court, the Prinicipal, Mr. Reg Allen, Chair and CEO of the Tasmanian Qualifications Authority (TQA), Mr. Adam Croser, Mrs. Ratchanee, and Mrs. Parichard Keogh, representatives from Thai community and Friends of Thailand, also attended the meeting. In preliminary stage, Dr. Sopha Cole and Tasmania state authorities would explore the potentials in promoting program in Tasmania while opening the program in Victoria. There will be a follow-up meeting and further exploration after the Ambassador’s official visit to Victoria in August 2014.
