Announcement of the National Council for Peace and Order

Subject: Establishment of additional One Stop Service Centers for the Registration of Migrant Workers

          Whereas clause 4 of the Announcement of the National Council for Peace and Order No. 70/2557 on the subject of Interim measures in solving the problem of migrant workers and human trafficking dated 25 June B.E. 2557 (2014) has provided that a One Stop Service Center for the Registration of Migrant Workers shall be established in every province and that the establishment and  commencement of their operations shall be in accordance with further announcements, the National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) hereby announces as follows:

1.       Establish additional One Stop Service Centers pursuant to clause 4 of the Announcement of the National Council for Peace and Order No. 70/2557 on the subject of Interim measures in solving the problem of migrant workers and human trafficking dated 25 June B.E. 2557 (2014) in the following 6 locations in Bangkok:

(1)  Ram Indra Sports Park, Bangkhen District

(2)  Thai-Japan Bangkok Youth Center, Din Daeng District

(3)  Mueng Minthinthong Municipal Community Hall, Minburi District

(4)  Lumpini Youth Center, Pathumwan District

(5)  Taweewattana Youth Center, Taweewattana District

(6)  Sports Complex commemorating His Majesty the King’s 84^th Birthday Anniversary (Bangbon), Bangbon District

The abovementioned centers shall operate from 15 July 2014 to 14 August 2014.      

2.     The Ministry of Interior and the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration shall be responsible for facilitating the operations of the abovementioned One Stop Service Centers for the Registration of Migrant Workers pursuant to clause 1 and shall jointly work with Ministry of Labor, Ministry of Health and other relevant agencies.

          This announcement shall take effect immediately.
