On 28 June 2014, Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs of Thailand met Team Thailand of the Royal Thai Embassy in Hanoi at the Ambassador’s residence.  

Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs of Thailand, who was in Hanoi to attend the Special ASEAN Senior Officials’ Meeting on ASEAN Centrality and Strategic Approach to the Future Regional Architecture during 26-29 June 2014, updated the ongoing efforts to implement the National Council for Peace and Order’s stated objectives and matters of urgency, the NCPO’s 3-phase Roadmap leading to the fully functioning and sustainable democracy and the active roles of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand in explaining the ongoing efforts of NCPO internationally. The Permanent Secretary also gave the briefing of Thailand’s constructive role as the country-coordinator for ASEAN-China relations in addressing regional challenges including the South China Sea issue.  Permanent Secretary and Team Thailand also exchanged views on way to promote strategic partnership cooperation between Thailand and Vietnam.  

Team Thailand of the Royal Thai Embassy in Hanoi comprises of the Ambassador of Thailand and Embassy Officials, Military Attaches (Army, Navy and Air Force), Minister-Counsellor (Commercial), Minister-Counsellor (Narcotic Affairs), General Manger of Thai Airways International in Hanoi and Airport Services Manager of Thai Airways International in Hanoi.
