On 17 June 2014, Dr. Kamol Tassananchalee and Prof. Decha Warashoon, Thai National Artists together with their fellow artists namely Assoc.Prof.Dr. Jirawat Phirasant, Asst.Prof. Chaivut Ruamrudeekool, Mr. Banlu Wiriyapornprapas, Mr. Wattanachot Tungateja and Mr. Nukoon Panyadee had their artworks displayed in Through Each Other's Eyes Art Exhibition jointly with selected Polish artists. On this occasion, H.E. Mr. Bansarn Bunnag, Ambassador of Thailand and Mr. Jacek Maslankiewicz, President of the Polish Artists Association in Warsaw presided over the opening ceremony.
The Exhibition is one of the activities under the cooperation and exchange of artists project organized by the Royal Thai Embassy in Warsaw in collaboration with the Polish Artists Association in Warsaw, with an aim to enhance closer relations between Thailand and Poland at people-to-people level by means of arts. Other activities include study visits to National Museum in Warsaw, Contemporary Art Museum at Ujazdowski Castle and National Museum in Krakow, a lecture by Dr. Kamol Tassananchalee at Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts and outdoor painting with Polish artists at Mokre Lake located in Kampinos National Park. In 2015, it is expected that Polish artists will visit Thailand in order to enroll in the exchange project and exhibition organized by Thai artists.
The exhibition will run until 30 June 2014 at DAP Gallery, ul. Mazowiecka 11a (Mon - Wed 11.00 - 18.00hrs, Thurs-Sat 11.00 - 21.30hrs) free of charge.
