Subject: Order of the NCPO No. 37/2557 is not to be applied to offenders of certain offences

            With regard to Order of the NCPO No. 37/2557 dated 29 May 2014 requesting the handover of firearms, ammunition or explosives used specifically in war; in order to ensure an effective maintenance of peace and order, the NCPO hereby announces as follows:

            Order of the NCPO No. 37/2557 dated 29 May 2014, requesting the handover of guns, ammunitions or explosives used specifically in war, is not to be enforced against those who committed an offence under the Firearms, Ammunition, Explosives, Fireworks, and the Equivalent of Firearms Act, and who have been arrested, charged or prosecuted before 29 May 2014 whose investigation or case is still pending in court.

            This announcement shall take effect immediately.
