Subject: Change to curfew period
* * * * *
With regard to Announcement of the NCPO No. 3/2557 dated 22 May 2014 imposing a nationwide curfew from 22.00 to 05.00 hrs effective from 22 May 2014 onwards, except when allowed by officers, and with regard to Announcement of the NCPO No. 8/2557 dated 22 May 2014 on curfew exemptions; in order to mitigate negative impacts on the daily life of people, the NCPO hereby announce a change to curfew period and lay down conditions thereof as follows:
1. Effective from 28 May 2014 onwards, all persons within the Kingdom are prohibited from leaving their residence between 00.01 – 04.00 hrs, except when allowed by relevant officers.
2. Security officers with the duty of transporting cash and valuable assets for banks are allowed to continue their duty as usual pursuant to Order of the NCPO No. 4/2557 dated 23 May 2014 allowing security officers to transport cash for banks during night time and allowing possession of weapons in carrying out such duty.
3. Logistics entrepreneurs carrying out their business outside the curfew period are to continue to abide by the Order of the NCPO No. 17/2557 dated 24 May 2014 allowing transportation of goods during the curfew.
