On 18 December 2013, Mr. Vu Xuan Hong, Chairman of Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO) presented the “Medal for Peace and Friendship among Nations” and a Commemorative Certificate to H.E. Mr. Anuson Chinvanno on the completion of his term as Ambassador of Thailand to Vietnam. The Ceremony was held at the headquarters of Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations and was attended by members of Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations, Vice Chairmen of Vietnam-Thailand Friendship Association and representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam. 

During the Ceremony, Mr. Vu Xuan Hong expressed his satisfaction with the successful development of Thailand-Vietnam relations, especially the visit to Thailand of H.E. Mr. Nguyen Phu Trong, the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, in June 2013 and the establishment of the Strategic Partnership between Thailand and Vietnam. Mr. Vu Xuan Hong also thanks the Ambassador of Thailand for his contributions to the work of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations and Vietnam-Thailand Friendship Association during his 3-year term in Vietnam.
