On 18 December2013, Ambassador Vijavat Isarabhakdi, along with representatives from the Royal Thai Embassy’s Office of Agricultural Affairs and Office of Commercial Affairs, joined the video conference between the Thai delegation and Ambassador-at-Large Luis CdeBaca, Office to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Person, the Department of State to discuss efforts by Thailand to address the issue of trafficking in persons as well as Thailand’s Progress Report on the Implementation of the Anti-Human Trafficking in Persons Report of 2014.   The Thai delegation was led by Deputy Prime Minister PhongthepThepkanjana and Minister of Social Development and Human Security Pavena Hongsakula,and comprised representatives of the Thai agencies concerned, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, the Ministry of Labor, the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, the Office of the Attorney-General, the Royal Thai Police, and the Department of Special Investigation.
