The Royal Thai Embassy in Moscow hosted the First Meeting of the ASEAN Moscow Committee (AMC) under the Chairmanship of Thailand on 16 October 2013 at the Residence of the Thai Ambassador. The Meeting was chaired by H.E. Dr. Itti Ditbanjong, Ambassador of Thailand. The Meeting focused on ways forward for enhancing ASEAN-Russia relations and cooperation at policy level, particularly through regular discussion of ASEAN Ambassdors with high-ranking Russian officials.

     Thailand will serve as Chair of the AMC from October 2013 to March 2014.
