On 8 November, 2013, Mr. Chakri Srichawana, Consul - General, together with Ms. Benjamas Tanvetyanont, Deputy Consul-General, and Ms. Pratana Udommongkolkul, Consul, participated in 13th Macau Food Festival held during 8 – 24 November 2013 in Macau. The Consul-General presided over and delivered an opening remark at the Opening Ceremony of the Thai Food Festival, along with Mr. Fernando Chui Sui On, the Chief Executive of Macau, at the Thai Village. The Thai Food Festival, organized by the Tourism Authority of Thailand in Hong Kong in cooperation with the Association of Thai Restaurants in Macau, showcased Thai cultural performance and 30 Thai restaurants from the northern, southern, eastern and western parts of Thailand. The festival appealed to a number of visitors from Macau, Hong Kong, China and other countries. It contributes to the promotion of the Kitchen to the World policy and an increase in the popularity of Thai food, culture and tourism.
