On 18 August 2013, the Thai Ambassador hosted a dinner for Mr. Somsak Chantra, Vice-President of the Supreme Court of Thailand, and his entourage for the visit to the Russian Federation during 17-24 August 2013. On this occasion, the Ambassador and the Vice-President of Supreme Court exchanged views on the judicial system of Russia, as well as its role in Russian politics and society. The issues discussed were raised to the discussion of the delegation with Mr. Petr Pavlovich Serkov, First Vice President of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, and Mrs. Valentina Nikolaevna Epifanova, President of the City Court of Saint Petersburg.
