On 10 September 2013, Thailand International Development Cooperation Agency (TICA), Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in cooperation with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), hosted the CEAPAD Aid Coordination at Westin Grande Sukhumvit Hotel, Bangkok, in follow-up of the 1st CEAPAD Meeting held in Tokyo last February.

The Cooperation among East Asian Countries for Palestinian Development or CEAPAD was initiated by Japan aiming at fostering the development assistance of East Asia countries for Palestine. Representatives from nine CEAPAD member countries namely Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Palestine, Singapore, Thailandand Vietnam, as well as Islamic Development Bank and United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) participated in this Meeting activity.

The outcomes of the Meeting will be submitted to the 2nd CEAPAD Meeting to be held in the first quarter of 2014 hosted by Indonesia.
