It has become evident that the use of chemical weapons in Syria has resulted in a large number of casualties and injuries in that country.

Such act constitutes a blatant violation of international norms and a crime against humanity. 

Thailand therefore condemns, in the strongest possible terms, the use of chemical weapons in Syria.  The international community must ensure that those who are responsible for such heinous crimes must be held accountable and brought to justice.
