A Special Lecture Series on

"Uniting for the future: Learning from each other’s experiences

1. GENERAL INFORMATION

A Special Lecture Series on " Uniting for the future: Learning from each other’s experiences” will be held on 2 September 2013 at Crystal B, 3rd Floor, Athenee Tower, Plaza Athenee Hotel, Bangkok

2. FACILITIES

2 camera stands (6 x 2.4 x 0.6 m) will be available at Crystal B Room.

The Media Working / Listening Room is located at the China Room, which is Wifi-equipped and will transmit a live feed from Crystal B Hall. Dropouts (10 SDI embedded audio (625/50)) are available free of charge to media members at specific times scheduled by the Host Broadcaster. Translation devices and headsets will also be available.

Due to limited space, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reserves the right to limit the number of members of the media in the China Room on a “first-come, first-served” basis.

 

3. ACCREDITATION

Members of the media who wish to cover the meetings must be accredited and in possession of a media badge. Media are kindly requested to complete the Registration Form (link is below) and submit it together with a copy of the Press ID Card issued by the Public Relations Department or employing agency by 30 August 2013 via e-mail [email protected] or by fax + 66 2 643 5106 -7.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reserves the right to approve or deny requests and will inform approved members of the press individually. Approved members of the press can collect the badges for News coverage at the Media Registration Counter, located at the front of London 2 Room, 2nd floor, on 2 September 2013 at 07:00 hrs.

Interested media are required to undergo an equipment check at the hallway, 2nd Floor, one hour prior to the start of the event and wear their press ID cards visibly at all times.

4. DRESS CODE

Media representatives are advised to wear business attire while covering the events. Please avoid tank-tops, shorts, slippers and sandals.
