On 24 June 2013, Mr. Surapong Tovichakchaikul, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, on behalf of the Royal Thai Government, presented a contribution of 5 million baht (Approximately 166,000 USD) to Mr. Kazi Imtiaz Hossain, The Ambassador of Bangladesh to Thailand, as humanitarian supplies to the victims from the collapse of a factory building in Savar.
