On 10 June 2013, H.E. Tasanawadee Miancharoen, Ambassador of Thailand to Romania, visited Ploiesti Municipality following the invitation by Mr. Aurelian Gogulescu, President of Prahova Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Both of them have discussed the ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation and identify opportunities for a good economic cooperation between Romania, particularly Prahova county, and Thailand.  In addition, H.E. Ambassador also had a meeting with representatives of Prahova county and Ploiesti Municipality authorities including Mr. Mircea Cosma, President of Prahova County Council, Mr. Marius Sersea, Governor of Prahova County and Mr. Iulian Teodorescu, Deputy Mayor of Ploiesti Municipality, as well as visited a large-scale textile factory which is one of the leading industry of Prahova county. The H.E. Ambassador also gave an interview to the local media on this occasion.
