Mr. Anuson Chinvanno,  Ambassador of Thailand to Vietnam, praised the progress of Thailand-Vietnam trade cooperation at the opening ceremony of the 2^nd Thailand Trade Exhibition in Hai Phong on 21 March 2013.  Among the audience are Heads of Thai agencies in Hanoi, officials of the Royal Thai Embassy, representatives of Vietnamese and Thai public and private sectors and business people in Hanoi, Hai Phong and nearby provinces.

     This is the 2^nd year that the Office of Commercial Affairs in Hanoi and the Department of International Trade Promotion of Thailand organize this trade promotion event in Hai Phong, with the main objectives of promoting bilateral trade activities for Thai and Hai Phong businesses, introducing Thai high quality products to the Hai Phong market, as well as promoting the culture and cuisine of Thailand. During this year’s event, business matching activities was organized for the 1^st time in order to help business sectors of both sides to explore trade opportunities with their potential partners.

     A total number of 130 booths displayed the products from over 100 companies during the 4-day event between 21-24 March 2013. The event successfully attracted thousands of Vietnamese and foreign visitors.
