On February 24, 2013, H.E. Dr. Chaiyong Satjipanon, Ambassador of Thailand to the United States, hosted a dinner for members of the Thai community living in Seattle, Washington, and nearby areas, comprising academicians, architects, attorneys and businessmen/women.

     The meeting with members of Thai community was the first engagement of the ambassador’s visit to Seattle to promote economic, political and people-to-people relations between Thailand and the State of Washington, especially the city of Seattle.

     Ambassador Chaiyong was accompanied by a delegation comprising of representatives from the Royal Thai Consulate General in Los Angeles, the Thai Board of Investment in Los Angeles, the Office of Commercial Affairs in Washington, DC, and the Thai Trade Center in Los Angeles to Seattle.
