On 19 February 2013, Chirachai Punkrasin, Ambassador of Thailand to Mexico and his delegation visited Kidzania Cuicuilco. Kidzania is a Mexican edutainment theme park for the young generation aged between 4 to 16 years old. In the city of Kidzania, as in the real world, kids perform “jobs” to earn Kidzos currency with which they may use to purchase products or pay for services. The establishments in Kidzania are sponsored by real institutions and brands such as the Central Bank of Mexico, the Police, McDonald’s, CocaCola as well as many local brands, creating an ever real-life and exciting experience for the kids.

Kidzania will open its door in Thailand on 22 March 2013 at Siam Paragon Shopping Center in the heart of Bangkok. The Royal Thai Embassy has been a main supporter of the project in Thailand. The Embassy looks forward to future endeavors with Kidzania in pursuit of expanding young minds.
