On 27-28 January 2013, Dr. ChaiyongSatjipanon, Ambassador of Thailand to the United States of America, together with officers of the Royal Thai Embassy paid a visit to Chicago, State of Illinois. The Embassy’s delegation was welcomed by Consul-General SongpholSukchan and Deputy Consul-General ChakkridKrachaiwong, the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Chicago. During the visit, the delegation met and discussed with president and representativesof the Chicago History Museum about further Thai-Chicago art and cultural cooperation. While in Chicago, the delegation also visited the Ogden International School, which has cooperation with the Patumwan Demonstration School through the Thai-US Sister Schools program, as well as visited WatThammaram and voluntary teachers at the Thai language and cultural school of the said temple.
