On 25 April 2012, Mr. Villy Sovndal, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, met with Foreign Minister Surapong Tovichakchaikul on the occasion of the former ’s visit to Thailand prior to the 19th ASEAN - EU Ministerial Meeting in Brunei Darussalam. Both sides exchanged views and agreed to enhance cooperation between the two countries at all levels.
