On 20 January 2012, Mr. Jabor Ali A.H. Al-Dosari, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Thailand, paid a courtesy call on Mr. Surapong Tovichakchaikul, Minister of Foreign Affairs. Both sides discussed and exchanged views on overall bilateral relations between Thailand and Qatar, especially the warm reception given to Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn during her recent visit to Qatar on 9-10 January 2012. In addition, Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra has also accepted the invitation to pay an official visit to Qatar this year.
